A Common Sense Approach to Webkinz Recipes

If you've been playing with webkinz recipes for any length of time you will be aware of this. For our newcomers, I thought I would point out a common sense approach that you may not have thought about right away because of the many fun and wacky recipe names in webkinz world.

As you're racking your brain to come up with your next webkinz recipes, take a moment to think practically and think "common sense". =) Lets take the Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, can you guess what it takes to make this recipe? Peanuts, Jelly, and Bread, pretty straightforward eh? There are other various common everyday type recipes like this one but I won't spoil it for you in this post. Next time you're making your webkinz recipes, think about it and see what you can come up with!

My Suggested Recipe of the Day: Fizzletwist Pop
Stove/Gril/Cauldron: Cola + Cream Soda + Licorice

I enjoyed experimenting and discovering new recipes on my own, but it can get pretty expensive! I would definitely encourage you to have some fun trying yourself before you turn to spoilers, but if you burn a hole in your pockets then be sure to come back here for regular webkinz recipes every few days or so. I thought about providing as complete a list as possible for all known recipes but that kinda takes the fun out of discovery! =) Todays list will be Stove/Grill/Cauldron recipes.

NEW in Webkinz World - Webkinz Recipes Books

Next time you log into webkinz world, when you visit the W-Shop you'll find two new items for sale. Two new webkinz recipes books are for sale, "One With the Sandwich" and "The Way of the Blender". The books can be purchased for W90 kinz cash each. The following recipes are found in each of the books.

One With the Sandwich: Bean Burrito, Birthday Party Sandwich, Choco Chip Waffles, Deep Sea Barnacle Bagel, Fancy Schmancy Waffles, Black Forest Sandwich, Fruit Berry Crepes, Kablookie Sandwich, and Piggies In A Blanket.

The Way of the Blender: Cookie Tornado, Plymouth Veggie Parfait, Beach Sunrise Frappe, Blueberry Parfait, Mega Berry Slush, Yogurt Twist Smoothie, Root Beer Float, Cream Soda Float, Trippple Hot Chocolate, & Wild Kiwi Sunset.

According to some of the forums I've read today, the Webkinz Cookie Tornado is a mistake and DOES NOT work in the blender! The Cookie Tornado is actually a stove recipe. I don't recall making the cookie tornado myself and haven't logged into webkinz world yet to try this out, but others report they have. Besides this slight mistake in the book, the rest are correct and for you beginner chefs this will give you a good start working with webkinz recipes.

My Suggested Recipe of the Day: Atomicolicious Punch
Blender Recipe - Cherries + Orange + Peach

YUCK! - What Happened to These Webkinz Recipes?

After posting my overview of working with the webkinz recipes the other day, I forgot to mention something else you might cook up. Blech, Gak, and Gunk...YUCK! Doesn't sound to appetizing does it? =p

If you're cooking and one of these items show up, no big deal. These items are not edible and you'll find various colors that look better than they sound. Your pet definitely won't be happy or healthy by eating this junk!

So if you're having fun experimenting with webkinz recipes and you make blech, gak, or gunk, just go back to the drawing board because the food items you used obviously are not a successful webkinz recipe =)

Getting Started With Webkinz Recipes

For those of you who may be new to Webkinz World, I thought it would be appropriate to give you a little overview of working with webkinz recipes. To keep your pet healthy and happy you need to feed him/her regularly. There are various food items available in the W Shop for you to buy for your pet. However, to make your pet even happier you can use these regular food items to make recipes that create special items. These special food items will raise your pets care meters higher than the normal food items.

In order to make these recipes you will need to buy the appropriate cooking source. There are three items to buy, a Stove, a Sandwich Maker, and a Blender. A Grill and Cauldron are also available to use for recipes made in the Stove. Each of these three types of cooking sources will make recipes characteristic of their source. So for example, to make Fruit Slushie you will need a Blender. To make Zazzleoop Soup you need a Stove, Grill, or Cauldron. For a Birthday Party Sandwich you'll need a Sandwich Maker. You get the point.

Once you have your cooking sources you'll need to have your ingredients to start cooking. Each recipe requires three food items. Again, these can all be bought from the W Shop. And remember, you need to use the correct cooking source for the recipes to work. So if you want the Fruit Slushie mentioned above you need a Blender, not the Stove or Sandwich Maker.

So, you have your cooking sources and food items from the W-Shop. Lets get started on whipping up your webkinz recipes! Lets make a Root Beer Float to start. For this recipe you'll need Cherries + Ice Cream Cone + Root Beer. Go to your blender, click on it to bring up the blender window. Now drag and drop your three food items into the blender window. Click Blend and walaa! "Congratulations! You've Made Root Beer Float." Now, to make recipes with the stove/grill/cauldron and sandwich maker just follow the same process as with the blender.

Discovering new webkinz recipes are a lot of fun and there are just tons of recipes to keep you entertained and busy! For beginners I hope this has helped you on your road to being a master webkinz chef! =) Have fun and when you make your first recipe be sure to come back and comment here to let me know =)

Webkinz Recipes

Hi there and thanks for stopping by my blog about webkinz recipes. I'm going out on a limb and assuming since you found this page that you to are a webkinz fan and very well may be as addicted to discovering new webkinz recipes as my kids and I are!

Ever since that "fateful" day of being introduced to Webkinz World, my girls and I have really enjoyed our time spent with their webkinz. As a parent I'm very pleased with how fun webkinz are and with the level of educational influences incorporated into the whole experience.

Outside of all the games and other activities in webkinz world, we have particularly enjoyed trying to discover new webkinz recipes! I'm not too shabby of a "chef" in my home, and the girls always enjoy pretending to cook like mom =) I guess that enjoyment has carried over to the game.

We have a little "Yummy Yummy in our Tummy" celebration dance we do every time we discover a new webkinz recipe. It sounds corny and it probably is, but you can't truly appreciate the girl's dance unless you've seen it =)

I'm sure a lot of you enjoy discovering the recipes as well. If you're like us, we even have a friendly little competition with some of our friends and their children on who can discover the most recipes.

Because I've become a bit addicted with the whole webkinz experience, I guess this blog is a bit of a carry over from that. I also thought it would be helpful for anyone else interested and having fun with the webkinz recipes aspect of webkinz world.

I'll be writing a little about the general workings of cooking as well as sharing the various webkinz recipes we've discovered here. I hope you can learn a little more and enjoy it as well.
